About us

Welcome to Bittersweet Barn, a small family-owned farm located in the beautiful countryside of Virginia. Our passion for farming and raising small livestock, including ADGA-registered Nigerian Dwarf goats, AKKPS and IKKPS-registered KuneKune pigs, and various poultry, started as a hobby in 2023. Our animals are raised with the utmost care and attention, ensuring they are happy and healthy. Our goal at Bittersweet Barn is to provide our customers with quality animals and products while promoting sustainable and ethical farming practices. We invite you to come and visit us at our farm and experience the joy and beauty of rural life.

What we offer

• Sale of ADGA-registered Nigerian Dwarf goats
• Sale of AKKPS and IKKPS-registered KuneKune pigs (starting spring 2025)
• Sale of free-range poultry for egg production (can incubate upon request - chicks readily available in spring/summer)
• Sale of farm fresh poultry eggs (as available)
• Plans to offer farm-fresh products such as goat milk, cheese, soap, and pork in the future
